Checksums basically detect when some data in the cloud got modified from what was originally uploaded. The only thing that you can do at that point is either get the error, which will prevent that data from being downloaded, or turn off checksum verification and the data will be retrieved.
To turn off checksum verification: Drive Options > Data Integrity > Ignore chunk verification
