The minidump on July 3rd is potentially a CoveFS issue. It's crashing in our directory enumeration completion code. In particular, the call context, which is allocated for each pooled drive on which we're enumerating directories, is invalid. It's hard to tell exactly what happened with a minidump. But I've looked through the code and made absolutely sure that the call context is not freed at that point.

Given the other crash, which indicates hardware issues, and the fact that others are not reporting these types of crashes in directory enumeration, I would say that this is due to general system instability.

An exhaustive memory test would be a good idea.

Doesn't look like it's DrivePool related. This exception occurs in the code that transition from user space to kernel space. (More info: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff558949(v=vs.85).aspx )

The crash occurred in Microsoft's code.

MSDN suggests that this could be related to memory exhaustion or bad video drivers. I've checked the memory usage at the time of the crash and I don't see anything excessive, certainly nothing that should cause a BSOD. See below for full memory stats.

It sounds to me like there's something wrong with the RAM or hardware that interacts with the RAM.
