The logs have some Warnings in them related to duplication issues:
- It seems that some files are duplicated with extra file parts.
- There is at least 1 duplication conflict in a temp folder. Not critical, looks like some sort of log file.
This is consistent with the disk dropping out.
Error reports:
- I see a number of drive removes failing because of:
- [System]System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The system cannot find the path specified.
- System.IO.IOException: Can't open handle to volume.
- There are I/O errors on the pooled drives:
- [System]System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error
- This one is telling. It is definitely a hardware issue, it's the only way that you could get this error.
- [System]System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable
- On this path: _path:string = "\\?\Volume{6f89df43-e9b4-11e3-8d17-00241d7f56d6}\PoolPart.4d7534b8-22eb-49b2-b148-cdaf46ec873f\*"
- There is a problem with the performance counters:
- System.InvalidOperationException: Instance '6' does not exist in the specified Category.
All in all:
- Isolate which disk is causing the I/O errors and remove it from the pool, or fix the issue that's causing the I/O errors (bad cable, controller, etc...).
- Make sure that the file systems are not corrupt on the pooled disks. Chkdsk or the StableBit Scanner will do this.
If the problem continues then you can set up a remote support appointment with me. Just post my scheduling link.
