In order for Fast I/O MDL reads to work, when dealing with duplicated files, read striping has to be disabled. When dealing with unduplicated files, the read striping setting doesn't control whether Fast I/O is used or not.
This means that if you want to work around the bug in dedup.sys, read striping has to be disabled, when dealing with duplicated files.
