Current limits for Amazon Cloud Drive are:
  • Bandwidth limit (UL/DL): 20 Mbps / 50 Mbps
  • Thread limit (UL/DL): 2 / 4
I have 2 concerns about lifting these for custom keys, and Amazon Cloud Drive in general:
  1. If I lift the limits and Amazon sees server "hotspotting", as they did before, they could outright ban all StableBit CloudDrive users from their service completely. So I don't want to cross that line.
  2. My Amazon Cloud Drive account is seriously messed up right now. Broken files, incorrect usage statistics, etc... Currently, based on my experience, it seems like they have some serious data corruption issues. So I have some major concerns about allowing StableBit CloudDrive to use Amazon Cloud Drive. Even if they do approve us, I don't think I'll take the provider out of the experimental state, just because of this.
