You know what, I'm changing the SCT logic regardless of what the issue is here. It should not consider 0 C as a valid max temp.

Yes, we have that drive model in the system with a max temperature of 70 C. I've verified that the correct temperature is coming back by querying the cloud with that model number.

This is new in 2.5, so here's the way to go about troubleshooting temperature warning issues:

The first thing that you should do is determine where the maximum temperature is coming from. You can see the source of the maximum temperature by expanding the temperature attribute in the SMART Window (it may have a cloud next to it).

Notice that in this case the maximum temperature is coming from SCT (from the on-disk firmware), which supersedes the cloud.

You can also determine the exact maximum temperature that is coming from the cloud from the Disk Details window.

Finally, you can look at the Head settings to make sure that the values there are sane.

In this case, it sounds like perhaps SCT is reporting a max temperature of 0 C, which is overriding the cloud value. if that's the case, please let me know and I'll update the logic in the Scanner.
